LOS ANGELES, June 16, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- WRC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Los Angeles Center Studios (LACS), Los Angeles' premier independent studio and entertainment campus, announced today that the Warnaco Swimwear Group, a division of The Warnaco Group, Inc. (WRC), has signed a long term lease for two floors totaling approximately 38,000 square feet of office space on the full-service entertainment campus. WRC, a leading apparel company, plans to relocate its Swimwear Group headquarters to downtown Los Angeles in September, 2008. WRC was drawn to the creative, fully-enclosed, technologically-advanced campus at Los Angeles Center Studios.

"Warnaco is very excited about moving to Downtown Los Angeles and Los Angeles Center Studios. At the outset of the project, Warnaco communicated its interest in securing a central location that offered its employees a creative work environment, access to public transportation and a choice of amenities located on-site and within walking distance. Los Angeles Center Studios satisfied all these requirements," said Roy Longman and David Callahan of CresaPartners.

Over the last year, LACS has signed approximately 60,000 square feet of long term leases. Long-term tenants Film L.A., ePrize and Creative Kingdom have all significantly expanded their offices at Los Angeles Center Studios, in some cases more than doubling their original square feet. LACS also secured a long-term lease with Ronin Entertainment. To meet the demands of future long term tenants, the fourth floor has been pre-built out with five new creative office suites ranging from 2,000-4,500 square feet. These new suites are highly creative and practical spaces; with vibrant colors, exposed high ceilings and exciting design elements, these spaces are sure to lease quickly.

"Los Angeles Center Studios is excited to add Warnaco swimwear to the Tower Building. Our creative self-sufficient environment is what drew Warnaco Swimwear Inc. to the studio lot. We continue to offer an outstanding entertainment campus atmosphere in the heart of downtown Los Angeles," said Sam Nicassio, President of LACS.

Roy Longman and David Callahan of CresaPartners represented the Warnaco Swimwear Group. Los Angeles Center Studios was represented by Chris Bonbright, John Tronson, and Tom Barich of Ramsey Shilling.
