Kal Penn holds court at comedy opening

"I really love the character, but I don't know if I'd do it again," Penn admitted during the after-party at Green Door. "I'm getting a little old for it, and I really want to show that I can do a whole diversity of roles."
Still, he admits the fate of Harold and Kumar lies with the duo's fans. "If the film does really well, I'm sure that I'd be interested in coming back," he admitted.
New Line production chief Richard Brener said a third H&K film wouldn't be out of the question, then added quickly, "Of course, we're going to sweep the Oscars."
Preem attendees included pic's John Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, David Krumholtz and Eddie Kaye Thomas along with the writer-director team of Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg plus New Line's Toby Emmerich and Warner Bros.' Sue Kroll.
