Like the winter hit "The Moment of Truth," contestants on the new game show "Amne$ia" (NBC, 9 p.m.) must answer questions from their own lives to win.

Unlike the deep character flaws the other show reveals in pursuit of money, this one tends to poke more gentle fun at contestants who can't quite remember the name of the hotel they stayed at during a honeymoon, or the ages of their neighbor's kids.

Plenty of research was done on each contestant to come up with the questions, presented by Dennis Miller, who ought to be a bit livelier host than Mark L. Walberg on "The Moment of Truth."
"Amne$ia" is the second new NBC game show this week from Mark Burnett, the producer of "Survivor," "The Apprentice" and "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" His "My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad" had its premiere Monday.

The show's unusual title typography is rather like the one used for "Numb3rs" (CBS, 10 p.m.).
