Star-Telegram Staff Writer
First, a bit of self-promotion: My Top 10 TV shows for 2007 list runs on today's Live page at the back of the B section, and a "second 10" honorable mention list will be on the Pop Cultural District blog at www.star-telegram.com, where there's a lot more room for blather.
And no, nothing from tonight is on either of those lists, although the lineup does include one of my picks for best movies of 2005. It also includes the fifth episode of ABC's overblown game show Duel (7 p.m., WFAA/Channel 8), which will have its finale Sunday night.
Stuff to watch or record
The Singing Bee: Thought this karaoke show was gone, but desperate writers-strike times call for desperate measures, so it returns with two episodes -- both of which go head to head with Don't Forget the Lyrics, that other karaoke show, on Fox. Deborah Harry appears in the first episode; Little Richard woo-hoos! in the second. 7 and 7:30 p.m., KXAS/Channel 5
The 9th Annual A Home for the Holidays: Sheryl Crow, who recently adopted a child, joins James Blunt, Fergie and others in performing on this year's edition of the special, which promoted adoption awareness. George Lopez, Rene Russo and Numb3rs' David Krumholz will present stories about adoption. 7 p.m., KTVT/Channel 11
