Nobel Prize-winner AL GORE has been handed another accolade to acknowledge his climate change campaigning - the Environmental Media Association's Outstanding Achievement Award. The former U.S. Vice President picked up the award, which he shares with Live Earth concert producer Kevin Wall, at a ceremony on Wednesday (24Oct07) in Los Angeles. All the proceeds from the 2007 Live Earth concerts around the globe were donated to Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection and other similar charities. Sting's wife Trudi Styler was awarded the EMA Lifetime Achievement Award and Sienna Miller was given the EMA Futures Award for her work raising awareness about global warming. Other prize winners included George Miller's animated movie Happy Feet for its ecological message; My Name Is Earl; Numb3rs; Bindi the Jungle Girl.
