Akron Beacon JournalQ: I would like your opinion of "Boston Legal." I would like to know if it is considered a comedy or a drama! It certainly is the most unique program my husband and I have ever watched, and it is one of our favorites! We are particularly mesmerized by two absolutely fascinating characters -- that of Jerry (the lawyer) and Lincoln (the weirdo). Have these two actors done anything else of note prior to their roles on "Boston Legal"? And the relationship between Alan and Denny is almost poignant. Have the writers on this program written for any other programs?

A: I'm not a fan of "Boston Legal,' which comes mainly from David E. Kelley, famous for his work on "The Practice" (which provided the foundation for "Boston Legal"), "Ally McBeal," "Picket Fences" and "L.A. Law."

Christian Clemenson (Jerry) is a character actor with a mile-long resume, including "United 93," recurring role on "Veronica Mars," co-starring on "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." and guest appearances on "Crossing Jordan," "Numb3rs," "CSI" and other series.

David Dean Botrell (Lincoln) has acted on "Titus," "Mad About You," "Dharma & Greg" and other shows; he also wrote and directed the short film "Available Men."
