The second season of this mathematics drama — how weird a term is that? — features a new addition (Rescue Me's Diane Farr joins the series as FBI agent Megan Reeves) and a bit of subtraction (Sabrina Lloyd leaves the show, taking her character, Terry, with her). But mostly, Numb3rs will focus on division, with the relationship between FBI agent Don (Rob Morrow) and his math professor brother Charlie (David Krumholtz). ''We're gonna start showing some of the cracks and the problems they have together,'' says cocreator Cheryl Heuton. We'll also see much more of Charlie's life on campus. But how can producers keep making math look sexy? ''There are hundreds of exciting and bizarrely named and interesting math applications out there,'' says Heuton. ''It's really shocking.'' We're ready to be shocked, Cheryl.
