Dear David: I remember a sitcom from some years ago about a U.S. senator. One of the cast members was David Hyde Pierce of "Frasier." I believe the senator was played by John Forsythe. Pierce was married to the senator's daughter, who was very weight-conscious, and her name was Marisse. Does this have ... more »

Dianne Butler STUPID Channel 10, taking off The Simpsons to show Big Brother – Intruder Alert. Throws my whole night out. Intruder? How will they know? All those 12-year-olds look the same. Should Ten be playing fast and loose with The Simpsons when there's a feature length Simpsons film on the horizon? Obviously not. Heads should roll. I saw Matt ... more » Friday, April 27

Former "Ally McBeal" star Peter MacNicol is keeping busy these days, starring in both "24" and "Numb3rs" (9 p.m. today, WCCO, Ch. 4). It's a wonder he couldn't squeeze in the time to participate in "Dancing With the Stars."
